I work remotely and live in Chengdu, so I end up café and bakery hopping quite a bit. These are some places I go sometimes apart from the usual chains -- some are small local neighborhood coffee shops, some are more specialty or slightly fancier cafés, and a few aren’t even cafés in the strict sense, just comfortable places where you can sit with your laptop for hours. Sharing this in case it’s useful if you’re living in Chengdu, visiting Chengdu, or passing through as a digital nomad and need decent places to work from. Also, there are tons of good cafés around the Yulin area anyway -- you can pretty much just stroll around and randomly walk into something great.

Sometimes I also just sit at Add Love (爱达乐) for a long time depending on the location. Some of them are surprisingly comfortable for working.
